This first edition awarded Clara Poletti in the 'Legacy Women category', that honours senior female professionals working to further the green transition worldwide, and Onyinye Anene-Nzelu in the 'Emerging Talent category', dedicated to young female academics, entrepreneurs, and young leaders of civil society who are working to advance green transition agendas. The event also included a panel debate titled 'Energy transition and sustainable development – leaving no woman behind?' to tackle how the ongoing energy transition can contribute to gender equality.
