Biography

Sabrina Frydman is a human rights activist and educator, working as consultant on gender and international cooperation. Sabrina graduated as a lawyer from the University of Buenos Aires, obtained her master's degree in Human Rights and Civil Liberties at Southwestern Law School and excelled as a public interest attorney during her awarded Fulbright-Siderman Fellowship in Los Angeles. Throughout her 10-year career, Sabrina stood out as a professional in the public and civil society spheres impacting public policies on human rights. She led sexual and reproductive rights advocacy and capacity-building for youth at Amnesty International Argentina, provided expert services to UN Women and was Director of International Affairs at Argentina’s first Ministry of Women, Genders, and Diversity, where she advocated for a feminist approach to the international human rights agenda. Sabrina advises in the design, implementation and evaluation of human rights impact projects for civil society organisations. She holds an assistant professor in International Law position at the University of Buenos Aires, where she also coaches institutional teams for international competitions.

As a Policy Leader Fellow, she will research on Feminist Foreign Policy cases in Latin America and Europe, to build an understanding of successful strategies to combat the gender backlash phenomenon.
