Working group

PEARL - Florence PEARL (Florence Political Economy Applied Research Lab)

This working group is jointly organised by the EUI Departments of Economics, Social and Political Sciences, and the School of Transnational Governance, with Elias Dinas (SPS), Francesco Drago (ECO), Tommaso Nannicini (STG), and Sascha Riaz (SPS) as sponsoring professors. The working group has been created as a platform for scholars interested in applied political economy to present their work, receive feedback, and foster exchange across disciplines.

Logistics:

Seminars will take place on the first Monday of each month, from 5:00 to 6:15pm. This term, sessions will be held in person in the Seminar Room, 3rd floor, at Villa La Fonte. In the spring, they will move to the Badia Fiesolana, with a potential final workshop at Palazzo Buontalenti at the end of the academic year.

  • 3 November (5-6.15 pm): Biljana Meiske (SPS Research Fellow, formerly ECO Max Weber)
  • 1 December (5-6.15 pm): Marlene Thomas (ECO PhD)
