La conférence abordera lors de différents panels une variété de stratégies audiovisuelles et de projets des institutions européennes visant à présenter le projet d'intégration européenne et à promouvoir le concept d'identité européenne commune. Elle se penchera également sur la question de comment les archives en Europe préservent les fonds accessibles à la recherche et au public.

September 12 and 13: Conference "The Audiovisual Heritage of the European Integration Process" by HAEU and Uni Hamburg

The conference, organized by the HAEU in cooperation with the University of Hamburg, will illustrate the crucial role played by audio-visual media in fostering the concept of a common European Identity. Within this framework, it will discuss the question of how archives in Europe preserve and make these holdings accessible to research and the public.

La bibliothèque de l'IUE a complété la numérisation du Bulletin Quotidien Europe de l'Agence Europe.

Description
Suite à un accord avec l'Agence Europe en juillet 2018, la bibliothèque de l'IUE, avec le soutien des Archives historiques de l'Union européenne, a numérisé et publié en ligne les archives du Bulletin Quotidien Europe (l'édition française) de 1953 à 1999 et du Bulletin Quotidien Europe (l'édition anglaise) de 1979 à 1999.

EUI Library completes digitisation of Europe Daily Bulletin by Agence Europe

Description
Following an agreement with Agence Europe signed in July 2018, the EUI Library, with the support of the Historical Archives of the European Union, has digitized and published online an archive of Bulletin Quotidien Europe (French edition) from 1953 to 1999 and Europe Daily Bulletin (English edition) from 1979 to 1999.

19 June, participation in Academic Council

Description
During this AC the outcomes of the recent High Council have been discussed. Most important was the decision to approve/conclude the pilot phase of the STG project. This opens the door to recruitment of faculty (director and chairs) for the School. The Academic Council approved the draft contingency plan for Brexit, which aims to retain UK researchers and staff on the condition that the UK meets its commitments to the Institute. This plan is now to be approved by the High Council
