How to verify an EUI Degree

Third parties such as employers, prospective employers, academic institutions or funding authorities may request information on a current or former researcher’s EUI academic record. The EUI Academic Service can provide this information only with the researcher's permission.

Verification Procedure

• Requests are free of charge and must be made by email to [email protected] with the subject line as: 'Degree Verification: your organisation name - researcher SURNAME, Name'.
• Third parties must attach a 'Consent to disclosure (PDF)' form or their own equivalent signed by the researcher.
• Third parties that are already in possession of an EUI certificate/diploma and that wish to verify its authenticity, should also attach a copy of the certificate/diploma.

Incomplete requests will not be answered due to the EUI Data Protection Policy.
