Georgios Papakonstantinou

Georgios Papakonstantinou is Acting Director of the Florence School of Transnational Governance as Professor Alexander Stubb is a candidate in the Finnish Presidential elections.

Professor Georgios Papakonstantinou is the EUI Dean of Executive Education and holds the Chair of International Political economy at the School of Transnational Governance. He is an economist who holds a PhD from the London School of Economics and has served government at the highest level, as Greece's Minister of Finance and Minister of Environment and Energy. Papakonstantinou was also Member of Parliament and Member of European Parliament (MEP).
