Background

All researchers are eager to disseminate their research findings to other researchers in their discipline, by publishing in high impact academic journals or by writing a book.

Research Impact describes the effect that our research might have beyond our academic discipline, in wider society. It is very important for organisations who provide research funding and other stakeholders.

What you will learn

This workshop introduces participants to some striking examples of the innovative ways in which research findings can have practical applications in broader society.

It offers practical examples of how we can make our research more visible and make a tangible difference to people's lives.
