Printing on Public Network Printers

All public MultiFunction Printers (MFPs) are installed on PrintServer and are accessed via one only (virtual) printer named NetworkPrinter.

Depending on your Academic or Administrative Unit, specific additional network printers may be available as well.

As per EUI Procurement Policy, the purchase of local printers for use in the office is NOT allowed.

Local office deskjet or laserjet printers purchased via research funds prior to the introduction of the current Printing Services, are NO longer supported and/or consumables are NOT made available anymore. This includes re-installation, maintenance and repairs by or via the ICT Service and its Print Support staff.

In the frame of this policy, (former) local office printers have been replaced either by public MultiFunction Printers and/or one default (Ricoh) office model (if eligible).
