Publish in Open Access: Library agreements with publishers

The EUI LIbrary supports the members of the EUI academic community in their efforts to publish Open Access through specific 'transformative' agreements with publishers.

The Library agreements, valid between 3 and 5 years, can waive the Open Access publishing fees usually charged to the author in nearly 3,700 journal titles published by Springer, Cambridge University Press and Wiley.

Monographs (Books) in Open Access and the Book Processing Charge (BPC) fees are not covered by the agreement.

The agreements described below allow EUI corresponding authors to publish their articles in Open Access without paying any Article Processing Charge (APC).

The agreements are conlcuded thourgh the Italian consortium CRUI. A list of negotiations and contracts is available (in Italian).
