Traineeships
- Candidates must have obtained a university degree, in Library and Information Studies or similar, by the closing date for applications, and no longer than three years prior to the deadline for applications. The three years rule is not applicable to trainees enrolled in further university studies at the moment of their application for the traineeship at the EUI.
- Ability to work in an international team.
- Excellent knowledge of English and good knowledge of a second EU language.

Only candidates invited for an interview will receive information on the selection status from the EUI. If you have not heard from us within 3 months after the application deadline, you can assume your application has not been successful on that occasion, but please note you are welcome to apply for any other future vacancy of interest.

Short-term jobs
They are reserved exclusively for EUI researchers and students, offering opportunities to contribute to Library projects and daily operations. Tasks may include assisting at the desk on Saturdays, reshelving and relabeling materials, data entry, and other similar activities.
