Digital education: best practice guides

Teaching Online: Best Practices

Designed to help academic staff with the transition to online teaching. It is mainly targeted at staff who are not familiar with Brightspace (the EUI Virtual Learning Environment platform), but can also be helpful to those who are already using it for some teaching or who are teaching fully online.

Brightspace Community

This website hosted by D2L includes a huge amount of resources for Brightspace users (administrators, instructors and developers). Registered members can get support, answers, tips and proven ideas from other community members and experts, access the Brightspace Learner Resources, watch videos or attend webinars and open a ticket if they can’t find what they are looking for.

To become a member, go to the community website and register with your EUI email address.

Microsoft Teams User Manual (EUI login required)

Describes the basics fo the system and gives a detailed user instruction on the most relevant features.
