Black History Month: The Library's Academic Guide

Born in 1970 in the US in the aftermath of the Civil Rights movement, Black History Month was conceived as a way of remembering Black people’s contributions to the history of the nation. Nowadays, while BHM is widely celebrated in the US and the UK,  but its importance is also gradually increasing in continental Europe.

A group of interested researchers, together with the support of Library staff, have prepared a set of initiatives throughout the month of February.
