Data description

re3data is a registry of over 3,000 research data repositories worldwide, covering all scientific disciplines. The registry is maintained by the Humboldt University, Berlin, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences, the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and Purdue University.

The re3data catalogue can be used to discover datasets by key-term search. Results can be filtered using the left menu facets; eg. social sciences, anthropology, geography &c.

Datasets can also be located via the three browse functions: subject, content type and country.

An interactive chart of disciplines and sub-disciplines can be used to locate data by subject area.
