re3data Registry of Data Repositories

Data description

re3datare3data is a global registry of research data repositories for locating and accessing research datasets in all scientific disciplines. The registry is maintained by the Humboldt University, Berlin, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences, the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and Purdue University.

The re3data catalogue can be used to discover datasets by key-term search. Results can be filtered using the left menu facets; eg. social sciences, economics, anthropology, geography and the humanities.

Datasets can also be located via the three browse functions: subjectcontent type and country.

An interactive chart of disciplines and sub-disciplines can be used to locate data by subject area.

Time period

Data ranges are indicated in the series metadata, varying by source repository.
