Data description

re3datare3data is a global registry of research data repositories. The registry is maintained by the Humboldt University, Berlin, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences, the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and Purdue University.

re3data is a one-stop directory for locating and connecting to heterogeneous research datasets in all scientific disciplines.

The re3data catalogue can be used to discover datasets by key-term search. Results can be filtered using the left menu facets; eg. social sciences, economics, humanities, geography.

Datasets can also be located via the three browse functions: subjectcontent type and country.

An interactive chart of disciplines and sub-disciplines can be used to locate data by subject area.


Time period

Data ranges are indicated in the series metadata, varying by source repository.
