Upcoming Conference: "History of the European Parliament: research projects, sources and historical memory 1979-2019", on 29th November at House of European History, Brussels

Description
The conference, organized by the 'Association of Friends of the Historical Archives of the European Union' in partnership with the HAEU and the House of the History of Europe, proposes to present an inventory of the sources, written and oral, historical and memorial, as well as to revisit the various research projects bearing or relating to the history of a European institution whose role and legislative and budgetary powers have steadily increased since its first term of office.

On 9 and 10 June 2020, the Frankfurt Max Planck Institute will host the fourth annual conference of the Research Field 'Legal History of the European Union', which will focus on the relationship between law and policy in European integration from the 1960s to the 1990s. Proposals for contributions of no more than 150 words are welcome by 1st December 2019.
