Procedure files 1981 and 1982 of the Court of Justice of the EU available for consultation

Description
The inventory on the Court of Justice of the European Union's original procedure records for the years 1981 and 1982 is now accessible in the HAEU database, and the files are available for consultation in digital format under specific access conditions. The 586 new files pertain to 671 cases ruled by the CJEU in 1981 and 1982, including the Levin case, the "Buy Irish campaign" case, as well as the case 283/81 and its CILFIT judgment.

Her private papers, containing personal and professional correspondence, working documents, and personal belongings, were deposited in 2013 at the Historical Archives of the EU for preservation and public access.

The long way to Florence: Council of the EU produces video on the transfer of archives to Florence during the Covid pandemic

Description
In December 2020, the Council Archives organised a regular file transfer for long-term preservation and public access, from its deposits in Brussels to the Historical Archives of the EU in Florence. The Council of the EU has documented this archival voyage from Brussels to Florence in a video along with an article, made available to the public via the HAEU website.
