The Maintenance Unit of the Real Estate and Facilities Service is responsible for the ordinary maintenance of infrastructures and grounds in all the sites of the European University Institute (including EUI flats in Pian del Mugnone and Ponte alla Badia).
The Maintenance Unit is located in the Badia Fiesolana and coordinates all the technical support requests submitted by EUI users and visitors through the EUI Helpdesk portal (helpdesk.eui.eu) for the following categories:
All the interventions are carried out by external outsourced companies (Carpenters, blacksmiths, electricians, plumbers, gardeners, porters, cleaning personnel…) selected through a public call for tender.
To submit a support request, please open a ticket on helpdesk.eui.eu selecting the proper category related to the nature of your issue, you will be assisted as soon as possible and you will always be able to monitor the status of your request (i.e. ticket) on your “my tickets” section of the Helpdesk portal.
The EUI Helpdesk is operative every day from Monday to Friday (except on EUI closure days) from 9 am to 5.30 pm: ticket submissions will therefore be handled during above working hours only. For any emergencies outside working hours and/or during EUI closures/holidays, please contact the Control Room (+39 055 4685999 from outside or simply ext. 2999 from inside the EUI).
