Basketball

To access the court, you will need your EUI card activated for the gym in order to open the gate adjacent to the court. This is done by sending a request for induction to [email protected] .

It is a two net court of approximately 10 metres long and 5 metres wide. Basketball balls can be borrowed from the locker inside the EUI Gym. It is an outdoor court, therefore sometimes it is challenging to play due to weather conditions.

 Would you like to join the EUI basketballers?

• Currently we meet every Monday 6-7,30 pm to practice at the court next to the EUI gym and play among us in 4x4 or 5x5 format.
• From January to April 2019, the EUI will have a basketball team – EUI Wildboars – participating in a mixed-gender basketball tournament organized by Freccia Azzurra Basketball Club. The games take place every Wednesday 7-8,30 pm, in the gym of Liceo Dante, in Via Francesco Puccinotti 55 (Piazza della Vittoria).
• Everybody from the EUI community who wishes to practice or participate in the tournament is welcome to join. Please ask the contact person(s) for further details.

  Would you like to play on your own/with your friends/colleagues?

• Just follow the instructions to activate your EUI card and show up whenever you feel like playing (not after 10 pm).
• Everybody from the EUI community who wishes to play is welcome to join.
